Hollywood Chewing-gum has the same logo since 1952. It represents the american dream, with the name of the famous american city and the blue and red colors.

 

 

Freedent's logo has been the same since 1987. But in 2004, the brands wants to modernize its image in order to fights its main competitor : Hollywood. There were 3 different propositions. The brand asked the consumer to choose.

       The new logo uses capital letters, is more dynamic and in relief. The capital letters are used to highlight the "DENT" word. It consolidates its positioning : sugar-free and teeth protection.  

 

Mentos gum's logo uses the same logo than the famous Mentos brand. "Gum" is written in red in order to be well recognized and well known by consumers. The brand wants people to understand that there is not only Mentos bonbons but Mantos GUM also, and this strategy is a success.

 

Wrigley 5 gum's logo is very simple. Only the number 5 is represented, with the name of the group in small caracters. Simple and modern, it is a good representation of the brand spirit.
